Uyghur Muslims in China: पड़ोसियों के साथ दुनिया के कई दूसरे देशों के लिए सिरदर्द बन चुके चीन (China) में अमानवीय जुल्म किए जा रहे हैं. उइगर मुसलमानों (Uyghur Muslims) के अलावा कई अन्य जातीय अल्पसंख्यकों पर अत्याचार की खबरें अक्सर सुर्खियों में रहती हैं. उइगर मुस्लिमों के साथ भेदभाव और मारपीट आज दुनिया को सोचने पर मजबूर कर रही हैं. कई मीडिया रिपोर्ट्स में इस बात का जिक्र किया गया है कि चीन में उइगर मुसलमानों की जिंदगी बद से बदतर है.

शिनजियांग प्रांत (Xinjiang Province) में उनके साथ तालिबान की तरह अत्याचार किए जा रहे हैं. उनसे बंधुआ मजदूर की तरह काम लिए जाते हैं. संयुक्त राष्ट्र के मानवाधिकार विशेषज्ञों ने चीन में उइगर मुसलमानों को कथित तौर से बंदी बनाने और जबरन मजदूरी कराने को लेकर चिंता जाहिर की है.

संयुक्त राष्ट्र ने चीन पर मानवाधिकारों के गंभीर उल्लंघन का आरोप लगाया है. रिपोर्ट में दावा किया गया है कि चीन में उइगर मुसलमानों के साथ अत्याचार किए जा रहे हैं. चीन इन बातों को लेकर अक्सर पल्ला झाड़ता रहा है. रिपोर्ट में कहा गया है कि चीन में बने डिटेंशन सेंटरों में उइगर मुस्लिम कैदियों को अमानवीय यातनाएं दी जाती हैं. इनमें यौन उत्पीड़न से लेकर लिंग आधारित हिंसा तक शामिल हैं.

It has been said in the report that Uighur Muslim prisoners are subjected to inhuman torture in the detention centers built in China. These range from sexual harassment to gender-based violence.
