Hungary's parliament passed a bill that bans disseminating what it calls content promoting gender change or homosexuality in schools. The law would ban LGBT literature for under-18s, including educational material, and advertisements deemed to be promoting gay rights.
A move which rights groups said resembled Russia's 2013 "gay propaganda" law.
