"Left Parties Always Carried Political Weight In Bihar": CPI(ML) Candidate

One of the striking stories in the Bihar election has been the performance of the Left parties that have won a total of 16 seats, a marked improvement from earlier polls. The best performance has been from the CPI(ML) , that won 12 of the 19 seats it contested . The assembly seat of Paliganj near Patna has elected 33 year-old Sandeep Saurav from the CPI(ML) as its MLA. This was his first election. Alok Pandey spoke with Mr Saurav to get a sense of how he won.
