Scientist Siouxsie Wiles rose to prominence during the early days of Covid-19 as a leading commentator on the virus as well as the Government’s response.

She’s taking the University of Auckland to court, alleging it failed to protect her from public abuse and harassment during the pandemic.

The court heard that death threats were among the tsunami of abuse aimed at her.
