Residents of the Donetsk, Luhansk, Zaporizhzhia and Kherson regions in Ukraine were voting for a fourth day on Monday, in what the West has described as "sham referendums." The votes were announced after Ukrainian forces recaptured much of the northeastern Kharkiv region in a counter-offensive.
