Buckingham Palace and Ngozi Fulani have issued a joint statement saying a meeting "filled with warmth and understanding" has taken place between Lady Susan Hussey and Ms. Fulani.

Lady Hussey had repeatedly questioned the charity founder on where she "really" came from, at a charity event.

She is said to have offered her sincere apologies for the comments that were made and the distress they caused to Ms Fulani.
