Labour want rail strikes "to be settled by negotiators"

Shadow Chief Secretary to the Treasury Pat McFadden told Kay Burley that Labour "understand people are pushing for pay rises, but want to see these things settled by negotiators."

His comments came after the majority of rail services across the UK came to a halt, as 40,000 members of the Rail, Maritime and Transport union (the RMT) on Network Rail and 13 train operators went on strike.
