Rachel Reeves has unveiled her "securonomics" plan for Britain which aims at restoring economic growth but "understanding the world as it is today".

Labour's shadow chancellor has stressed that globalisation as we once knew it "is dead" as the UK's ability to produce things has been depleted amid supply chain crunches and widening gaps between different parts of the country.
