Awami Muslim League Chief Sheikh Rashid on Monday moved an application before the Lahore High Court (LHC) Rawalpindi bench against the sealing of Lal Haveli by the Evecauee Trust Property Board (ETPB).

It was nararated in the application that the matter of Lal Haveli is already in a court of law so the sealing operation is politically motivated

Talking to reporters outside the Lal Haveli, the seasoned politician, who is currently supporting PTI Chairman Imran Khan, said the discrimination had been shown because he was supporting Imran Khan.

He alleged that Deputy Adminsitrator ETPB Asif Khan was front man of interior minister Rana Sanaullah.

The Evacuee Trust Property Board (ETPB) sealed the Lal Haveli -- the residence of Awami Muslim League (AML) chief Sheikh Rashid Ahmed -- in the wee hours of Monday, Dunya News reported.

According to initial reports, the ETPB staff along with Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) and police personnel reached the residence of Sheikh Rashid and sealed it.
