United States President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris hosted MLB's 2020 World Series Champions, the Los Angeles Dodgers, at the White House on Friday.

It's part of a tradition of the winners of major North American sports leagues visiting the White House, including the winners of the World Series each season.

Among the speakers was Dodgers ace Clayton Kershaw, one of the best pitchers in baseball today, who helped the team deliver two personalized Dodgers jerseys to the President and VP.

The Dodgers won the World Series against the Tampa Bay Rays in six games, earning their first championship in 32 years.

The president congratulated the team on their accomplishment during a challenging season, and also thanked them for opening up their stadium for COVID-19 testing and vaccinations as well as voting in the election.
