Today, Twitter locked the account of India's Union IT Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad for about an hour. As per Twitter, Ravi Shankar Prasad violated the US Digital Millennium Copyright Act. Later Twitter unlocked the account. The Information Technology Minister said that the action of Twitter is against the rules of IT. Twitter did not give any notice before locking the account. This proves that Twitter does not want to follow the new rules.
