Two months after his coronation at Westminster Abbey, Scotland will mark King Charles III and his wife Camilla's accession to the throne.
While the new monarch will not have a separate coronation in Edinburgh, a service will be held where King Charles is presented with the Scottish honours— the crown, scepter, and the sword of state.
The event will start with a royal procession and be followed by a National Service of Thanksgiving. At the closing of the ceremony, Britain's Royal Air Force Aerobatic Team will celebrate with a fly past.
