Speaking at a press conference on Wednesday, Moscow Police Department Chief James Fry provided an update about the investigation of the homicides of four University of Idaho students, stating the killer is at large and there are currently no leads.
Based on details at the scene, Fry said this attack was likely an isolated incident.

University of Idaho president C. Scott Green also addressed the media with a tearful message: "To us, this crime and the loss of these young lives is simply beyond comprehension."

"Their loss has been devastating, and they were bright lights in our community, and are deeply missed and will remain in our thoughts and our prayers," he said.

The victims are Ethan Chapin, Xana Kernodle, Madison Mogen and Kaylee Goncalves.
