The brothers of George Floyd, Philonise and Terrence Floyd, reacted to the sentencing of Derek Chauvin to 22.5 years in prison on Friday, with the latter saying it was thanks to the public's fight for change that helped lead to the sentencing and the earlier guilty verdict.

Terrance said while he was leery about the sentencing, but thanks to his father coming to him in a dream, he knew he and his family would be okay once the sentence was delivered.

Philonise discussed how his brother made a difference in the world despite knowing that his daughter would not be able to have her father walk her down the aisle or have him in her life. He also paid tribute to other Black men and women who were killed in interactions with police, such as Breonna Taylor.
