1996 में गुलज़ार की फिल्म आई थी माचिस।...जिसमें कुछ सिख लड़के 84 दंगों के गुस्से में आतंकवादी बन जाते हैं। कोई विवाद नहीं हुआ। ...फिर साल 2000 में विधु विनोद चोपड़ा की फिल्म आई थी मिशन कश्मीर। ...जिसमें रितिक रोशन गुमराह होकर आतंकी बन जाता है। विवाद नहीं हुआ। दोनों फिल्मों को सच का आइना बताया गया। दर्शकों की नज़र में रितिक रोशन और चंद्रचूड़ सिंह दोनों ही हालात के मारे थे, बेचारे थे।
लेकिन अब वक्त कुछ और है। सच तभी सच लगता है जब वो खुद को सूट करता है।
द कश्मीर फाइल्स और द केरला स्टोरी के बाद अब 2 और फिल्मों पर घमासान शुरू हो गया है। एक फिल्म है- 72 हूरें...जो बताएगी कि जन्नत और 72 हूरों के ख्वाब दिखाकर किस तरह मुस्लिम युवाओं को जेहाद और आतंकवाद के रास्ते पर धकेला जा रहा है।
...और दूसरी फिल्म है अजमेर-92...। ये फिल्म 1992 के उस रेप और ब्लैकमेलिंग कांड पर है जिसमें कई हिंदू बच्चियों को बहला-फुसलाकर उनका रेप किया गया था। तब लव जिहाद का टर्म नहीं आया था। पर कहा जाता है कि बच्चियों को धर्म परिवर्तन पर भी मजबूर किया गया था। अजमेर कांड अब भी अजमेर की पॉक्सो कोर्ट में पेंडिंग है। फिल्म का इसलिये विरोध हो रहा है क्योंकि इसके आरोपी अजमेर शरीफ़ दरगाह से जुड़े हुए थे, उसके खादिम थे। दो आरोपियों को कांग्रेस से भी कनेक्शन था।

दोनों फिल्मों के विरोध के पीछे लॉजिक वही है जो आपने पिछले दिनों सुने, कि- इन फिल्मों से भाईचारे को खतरा है। ..ये फिल्में नफ़रत बढ़ाएंगी।...इनके ज़रिये इस्लाम की इमेज बिगाड़ी जा रही है...और एक कॉमन आरोप ये भी कि इन फिल्मों के पीछे 24 का सियासी एजेंडा है।

In 1996, Gulzar's film Maachis came....in which some Sikh boys become terrorists in anger of 84 riots. There was no dispute. ... Then in the year 2000, Vidhu Vinod Chopra's film Mission Kashmir came. ...in which Hrithik Roshan becomes a terrorist after being misguided. There was no dispute. Both the films were described as a mirror of truth. In the eyes of the audience, both Hrithik Roshan and Chandrachud Singh were killed by circumstances, they were poor.
But now the time is different. Truth seems true only when it suits itself.
After The Kashmir Files and The Kerala Story, now two more films have started fighting. There is a film- 72 Hooren... which will tell how Muslim youths are being pushed on the path of Jihad and terrorism by showing dreams of Jannat and 72 Hoors.
...and the second film is Ajmer-92.... This film is based on the rape and blackmailing incident of 1992 in which many Hindu girls were raped after seducing them. The term of love jihad had not come then. But it is said that the girls were also forced to convert. Ajmer case is still pending in POCSO court of Ajmer. The film is being opposed because its accused were associated with Ajmer Sharif Dargah, were its servants. Two accused also had connection with Congress.

The logic behind the protest against both the films is the same as you have heard in the past, that- these films are a threat to the brotherhood. ..These films will increase hatred....the image of Islam is being tarnished through them...and there is also a common allegation that there is a political agenda of 24 behind these films.
