Karnataka Chief Minister's Final Salute As Actor Puneeth Rajkumar Paid Last Respects

Kannada actor Puneeth Rajkumar was buried in Bengaluru this morning in the presence of Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai and several top actors from the Kannada film industry. The Chief Minister gave a "final salute" ahead of the funeral and called the actor's death a personal loss. "It was a personal bonding with the entire family and more so with 'Appu'. I had seen him as a boy. We had relations since those days. Therefore, I am giving him a final salute. Certainly, I was emotional. It's a personal loss to me.
