In the immediate aftermath of the Taliban takeover, there was a surge in hospitalisations in Afghanistan’s capital, Kabul.
Some of the patients have come from Kabul International Airport, where they were shot while trying to reach the departures area.
The war may be over, but the healing in Afghanistan will take a long time.
