For the last couple of weeks, India has been in the midst of a hate wave, where religious processions such as the one in Jahangirpuri in Delhi have turned into communal clashes, where hate speeches have been made with impunity by those who are out on bail for the same offence but who clearly have no fear of the law, where bulldozers are being used to raze the homes of those alleged to have thrown stones at Ram Navami processions, in violation of all due process. Our special guest Justice Madan Lokur tells NDTV, that we can't have communal violence, hate speeches on a daily basis, that courts should pull up those who violate orders, the Supreme Court should take up issue of bulldozing and the courts have not been proactive. He also says the government should say enough is enough and if the government doesn't act, the court should uphold the rule of law.
