Two Just Stop Oil protesters have been arrested after smashing the protective glass cover of the Rokeby Venus painting at the National Gallery. The painting was previously slashed by suffragette Mary Richardson in March 1914. The National Gallery said in a statement, "the painting is now being removed from display so it can be examined by Conservators."
