Jonathan Majors arrives at court for sentencing in domestic abuse conviction

Jonathan Majors arrived at a New York courthouse where he was sentenced to a 52-week in-person batterers intervention program in Los Angeles, continue mental health counseling and stay away from the victim after his domestic violence conviction.

The judge said that "jail is not necessary" for the actor whose promising acting career stalled following the conviction. Majors faced a maximum sentence of 364 days in jail, but the Manhattan district attorney’s office did not seek jail time.
