Joe Biden insists he won't quit but is this the end of the president's re-election hopes?

Former US President Barack Obama said Joe Biden should "consider his viability", in a devastating blow to his chances of re-election, but he's not conceding yet.

Former speaker Nancy Pelosi, Joe Biden's long-time friend and ally, has already urged him to step aside.

Now seventy percent of Americans and 65% of Democrats also believe he should leave the race.
