Scores of family members and friends attended on Sunday a funeral of 56-year-old Rafael Ben Eliyahu, who was one of seven killed in a Palestinian shooting attack outside of a synagogue on the outskirts of Jerusalem on Friday.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Sunday said that Israel was not seeking escalation but that its answer to "terrorism is an iron fist and a powerful, swift and precise response," after two shooting attacks in Jerusalem.

Seven people including a 14-year-old were killed, which drew wide international condemnation and heightened fears of already spiraling violence escalating further.
