Early results in Kyrgyzstan's presidential election show nationalist Sadyr Japarov has won almost 80 percent of the vote.
Japarov claimed victory and pledged to bring stability to the Central Asian country, after a political crisis put him on the path to power.
Critics say Japarov's move to replace the country's parliamentary system with a presidential one would give him excessive powers.
