Jamie Foxx speaks out 3 months after sudden health scare: “I went to hell and back”

After three months of silence and speculation from fans, actor Jamie Foxx has spoken out about his recent and mysterious health scare.

Foxx, 55, was admitted to hospital back in April due to a “medical complication,” according to his family.

The acclaimed actor, comedian and musician took to Instagram on Saturday, to thank his supporters and let his followers know that he is on his way back — alluding to his recovery.

Though the ‘Django Unchained’ star did not disclose any details about his illness, he described it as going to “hell and back.”

Regarding his silence, he said he "didn't want (fans) to see (him) like that,” adding that he had “tubes running out” of him, while he was “trying to figure out if (he) was going to make it through."
