James Cleverly must be 'crystal clear' with China - Tory MP

Foreign Affairs Committee chair Tory MP Alicia Kearns has said foreign secretary James Cleverly must be "crystal clear" with China that the UK will "stand up for the rule of law and human rights".

Mr Cleverly is holding talks with senior Chinese officials on issues ranging from climate change to international security in what is the first visit to China by a UK foreign secretary in more than five years.
