Israel has confirmed that it will allow a limited number of trucks carrying humanitarian aid from Egypt to enter Gaza, starting Friday. The Rafah border crossing from Egypt is the only one into Gaza that Israel doesn't control. Israel sealed off its crossings into the territory and began airstrikes after Hamas launched terror attacks on October 7, killing at least 1,400 people. The United Nations reports more than 3,000 deaths in Gaza since then.
