Israel says a "grave mistake" was behind an airstrike on an aid convoy that killed seven aid workers, including three Britons.

The volunteers from the charity World Central Kitchen were delivering food to besieged Palestinians when their cars were attacked.

The Britons who died - John Chapman, James Kirby and James Henderson - were working as military advisers to the charity.

Nationals from Poland and Australia were also killed, as well as a dual citizen of the US and Canada.
