An Israeli government spokesperson has again denied Israeli soldiers opened fire on Palestinians massing around an aid convoy in Gaza.

Palestinian health officials say more than 100 people were killed in the incident last week.

They said casualties brought into hospitals had been hit by large-calibre ammunition fired by the IDF.

Israel's military said most of those killed died in a stampede - government spokesperson Tal Heinrich insisted to Sky News that IDF soldiers had only fired warning shots.
