Protesters in Israel are continuing to voice their opposition to a parliamentary vote on limiting the power of the Supreme Court.

Doctors have been on strike, and army reservists are refusing to serve in the military.

The Israeli parliament, or the Knesset, is now in recess, but all sides are preparing for a long fight as the most right-wing government in Israel’s history presses on with its controversial judicial changes.

Al Jazeera’s Bernard Smith reports from Tel Aviv, Israel.
