According to the Hamas-run Health Ministry, over 400 people have been killed in Gaza in Israeli attacks in the past 48 hours. In Gaza City, the Israeli army is engaged in street-to-street combat with Hamas, which is designated a terrorist organization by the European Union and the United States.
