Israel-Hamas war: 'Proud to stand with Israel', says Rishi Sunak

The Prime Minister says he shares the "deep condolences" of the British people with Israel which has an "absolute right to defend itself" within international law.

Mr Sunak said that Israel was making efforts to protect the lives of innocent people, and that he was proud to stand with the country in its darkest hour.
