इसराइल और हमास के बीच जारी जंग को लेकर जम्मू में आज शिया मुस्लिम समुदाय ने प्रदर्शन किया। शुक्रवार को नमाज के बाद मुस्लिम समुदाय के लोगों ने इसराइल और अमेरिका के खिलाफ नारे लगाते हुए फिलिस्तीन के लोगों को अपना समर्थन दिया। शिया मुस्लिम ने अमेरिका और फिलीस्तीन के खिलाफ नारे लगाए। हर समुदाय के लोगों ने मांग की के फिलिस्तीन में जल्द से जल्द शांति बहाल होनी चाहिए।

He told Netanyahu, “I am saddened and distressed by yesterday’s explosion in the hospital in Gaza. Based on what I've seen, it looks like another team did it, not you. Biden said there are many people who don't know for sure what happened at al-Baqarah, located in the heart of Gaza. Americans are mourning with you after last week's terrorist attacks.Hundreds of people have been killed in the hospital explosion, for which both Hamas and Israel have blamed each other. Israel has claimed that the rocket fired by 'Islamic Jihad' went in the wrong direction and this incident happened. However, the organization has rejected this claim.
अमेरिका के राष्ट्रपति जो बाइडन ने बुधवार (19 अक्टूबर 2019) को कहा कि उन्होंने जो देखा, उसके आधार पर ऐसा प्रतीत होता है कि गाजा अस्पताल में जानलेवा विस्फोट ‘किसी दूसरी टीम’ ने किया था, न कि इजरायली सेना ने. बाइडन ने विस्फोट के लिए फलस्तीनी उग्रवादी समूह ‘इस्लामिक जिहाद’ को जिम्मेदार ठहराने के इजरायल के दावे को स्वीकार किया.

हमास के साथ जारी संघर्ष के बीच इजराइल के प्रति एकजुटता प्रदर्शित करने के लिए यहां आए बाइडन ने बाद में ‘एक्स’ पर लिखा कि उन्हें ‘‘इजराइली लोगों के साहस, प्रतिबद्धता और बहादुरी के सम्मान में यहां आने पर गर्व है. पिछले सप्ताह के आतंकवादी हमलों के बाद अमेरिकी आपके साथ शोक मना रहे हैं.’’

अस्पताल में विस्फोट में सैकड़ों लोग मारे गये हैं जिसके लिए हमास और इजराइल दोनों ने एक दूसरे को जिम्मेदार ठहराया है. इजराइल ने दावा किया है कि ‘इस्लामिक जिहाद’ की ओर से दागा गया रॉकेट गलत दिशा में चला गया और यह घटना हुयी. हालांकि संगठन ने इस दावे को खारिज कर दिया है.
