U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken has visited the occupied West Bank to meet with Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas, a possible leader for Gaza once Israel's war on Hamas ends.

Blinken says countries like Saudi Arabia are willing to normalize relations with Israel when its siege on Gaza concludes, but only if there is a path to a future Palestinian state.
