Israel, Hamas agree to 4-day ceasefire that sees captives exchanged on both sides

Israel's cabinet has approved a ceasefire deal with Hamas that would see a pause in fighting in Gaza and the release of some captives on both sides. Under the deal, Hamas is to free 50 of the roughly 240 hostages it is holding in the Gaza Strip over a four-day period, the Israeli government said Wednesday. In exchange, Hamas said in a statement that about 150 Palestinian women and children will be released from Israeli jails.
