Media linked to the Palestinian Islamist militant group Hamas say an explosion at a house in southern Gaza has killed and injured several people, including children. Many of the wounded have been taken to a hospital in the territory's densely populated city of Khan Younis. Reports say at least four people have been killed. Hamas blames an Israeli airstrike for the casualties.

We talk to Lieutenant Colonel Peter Lerner who speaks for the IDF, Israel's military.
