Israel is continuing its evacuation of communities near the border with Lebanon after saying there has been an escalation on the northern border.
In the last hour, Israel said, it had managed to “neutralise” an antitank battery that was about to launch an attack across the border into Israel.
Israel says Hezbollah is behind these attacks and is in danger of dragging the Lebanese government into a wider war.
