The 2023 edition of the San Diego Comic-Con was affected by the WGA strike and SAG-AFTRA strikes, preventing writers and actors from attending and promoting projects. That meant multiple panels canceled. Was the convention knowing for its large Hall H presentations made worse due to the lack of star power? Los Angeles Times reporter Jevon Phillips wanted to find out.
