Iraq’s Supreme Judiciary Council is resuming work after it was temporarily halted by protests outside its headquarters in Baghdad.
Supporters of Shia leader Muqtada al-Sadr launched a new sit-in in front of the Council building, calling for judges to dissolve parliament and set a date for early elections.
