Iran has one of the highest rates of alcohol addiction in the Middle East.
That is despite a ban on liquor since the Islamic revolution of 1979.
While the government is slowly admitting there is a problem, critics say many who are addicted are left to fight their own battles.

Al Jazeera’s Resul Serdar reports from the Iranian capital, Tehran.
