It has now been five years since the United States — under then-President Donald Trump — withdrew from the nuclear deal with Iran.
Since then, Tehran’s nuclear programme has progressed rapidly, but Iranian officials maintain they are willing to move on a new agreement if Washington negotiates in good faith.
