Chris Bryant, member of the Foreign Affairs Committee said he is worried "if we continue to see the complacency" from Interpol, people might lose confidence in the organisation "completely".

Mr Bryant said there needs to be a review of "how Interpol is funded" and "my anxiety is quite often countries like China, Qatar, Russia in particular, use Red Notices as a means of shutting up dissent in their own country."
