Police in Indian-administered Kashmir have stepped up security after seven civilians, including minority Hindus, were killed by gunmen in separate attacks incidents in recent weeks.
A group called the Resistance Front has claimed responsibility, saying it is targeting Hindu nationalists and government informers.
Security sweeps in the aftermath have lead to the detention of hundreds of people accused of having links to banned Muslim organisations.
