According to the information, two units of the PLA army of China had simultaneously infiltrated into the Yangtse sector. There were about 100-100 soldiers in both the units (ie two companies). Meanwhile, the Indian Army's patrol party also reached there and a standoff broke out between the two countries. The Indian Army had taken some Chinese soldiers captive.
