भारत और कनाडा के आपसी संबंध अब तक के सबसे खराब दौर से गुजर रहे हैं. दोनों देशों की ओर से राजनयिक निष्‍कासन की घटना और कनाडाई प्रधानमंत्री जस्टिन ट्रूडो के गंभीर आरोपों के बाद भारत लगातार सख्‍त रुख अपनाए हुए है. पहले दोनों देशों के बीच होने वाली द्विपक्षीय व्‍यापार बैठक रद्द कर दी गई. इसके बाद भारत ने कनाडाई नागरिकों के लिए वीजा जारी करने पर भी रोक लगा दी. वहीं, ट्रूडो को पाकिस्‍तान को छोड़कर भारत के खिलाफ दुनिया के किसी दूसरे देश का साथ नहीं मिल पा रहा है.

Earlier the bilateral trade meeting between the two countries was cancelled. After this, India also banned the issuance of visas for Canadian citizens. At the same time, except Pakistan, Trudeau is not able to get the support of any other country in the world against India.
