बल्लेबाजों की मददगार पिच पर भारतीय गेंदबाजों ने दमदार प्रदर्शन किया और पाकिस्तान को सिर्फ 191 रनों पर ढेर कर दिया. इसके बाद अहमदाबाद में रोहित शर्मा का तूफाना आया और बाबर आजम की टीम को उड़ा ले गया. रोहित ने पाक गेंदबाजों की जमकर धुनाई की. हिटमैन ने सिर्फ 63 गेंदों में 86 रनों की धुआंधार पारी खेली. हालांकि, वह शतक से चूक गए. इस दौरान भारतीय कप्तान ने 6 चौके और 6 छक्के लगाए. 2023 वर्ल्ड कप में भारत की यह लगातार तीसरी जीत है.
