Palestinians in Gaza are beginning to experience the effects of increased humanitarian supplies entering the territory. Aid is now flowing through three crossings: Rafah and Karem Abu Salem in the south, and today, the Erez (Beit Hanoon) crossing in the north. Witnesses report that the Erez crossing has become operational, with 31 humanitarian trucks carrying food and medical supplies entering Gaza. However, the overall situation remains dire, as the aid reaching Gaza is inadequate to meet the extensive needs of the population.

Al Jazeera’s Tareq Abu Azzoum reports from southern Gaza.
