Prime Minister Narendra Modi held two online meetings this morning with eight Chief Ministers and Lieutenant Governors to discuss the coronavirus situation in the states and preparations for vaccine delivery. While the overall countrywide figure has dropped below 50,000 for several days now, the situation in certain states -- including Delhi -- has given rise to concern. Since last week, the Centre has rushed special teams to eight states to help the governments control the situation. PM Modi has asked the Chief Ministers to share feedback in writing on COVID-19 strategy, saying "no one can impose any view and all have to work together", sources said.
