Gig Buddies is an initiative from Spectrum Care that pairs up a volunteer with an adult who has a mild to moderate learning disability or autism to make Auckland’s events more accessible. This weekend the initiative teamed up with Auckland Council to bring inclusivity to live music with Gig in the Park, a free music festival in Auckland’s Victoria Park.
