In Iran, patients are struggling to find their medications

One of the central talking points in Vienna as Western powers and Iran try to revive a 2015 deal has been the impact of economic sanctions.


For many sick Iranians, finding the medicines they need is difficult, almost impossible, because of these sanctions.

More than 500 thalassemia patients alone have died since the US withdrew from the Iran nuclear deal and reimposed sanctions.


And as Al Jazeera's Resul Serdar reports from Tehran, it's worse for those suffering from rare illnesses.
