A hearing was held in the Lahore High Court on the petition to remove Imran Khan from the party post, Justice Abid Hussain Chatta heard the petition filed by Muhammad Afaq Advocate.

During the hearing, the lawyer requested that the court transfer the case to another bench.

In the petition, it was argued that the Election Commission disqualified Imran Khan for concealing the facts of Tosha Khana. There is a precedent that even Nawaz Sharif should not remain the party president after the disqualification. Legally, no party head can remain after the disqualification. Referred to the Election Commission, but the request for removal from the post was not processed.

In the petition, it was requested that the court should order the removal of Imran Khan from the post of Chairman Tehreek-e-Insaaf.

Later, the court reserved judgment on the admissibility of the petition.
